Father’s Day 2017 Brunch, Dinner Spots In Bethesda

Father’s Day falls on June 18 this year, and there are less than two weeks to plan for the perfect day for Dad. Are you looking for a restaurant to take your Dad to brunch or dinner? Tables in the Bethesda area are going fast.

You may also consider going to an outdoor event or even just taking a nice stroll around somewhere scenic. There’s nothing better than soaking up some glorious sunshine, getting some fresh air and exercise at the same time, while spending quality time with the man that bought you into the world. Here are some more ideas for Father’s Day gifts for outdoor dads.

Important addition to your gift… If you’re spending time outside, make sure you include the gesture of some mosquito repellent! Just a reminder, or if you know your dad is particularly bad at remembering to take time to ‘spray’ then get him some as part of your gift. How thoughtful, right?…

Officials warn about summer bugs

The Georgia Department of Public Health recommends the use of EPA-registered insect repellents containing DEET or Picaridin, IR3535 or Oil of Lemon Eucalyptus. Put on sunscreen first, then the bug spray, experts say.  Light-colored clothing and long sleeves and pants also help keep the pests way.

Don’t let the likes of mosquitoes and ticks ruin your special day. Enjoy the outdoors, have fun and create memories that you will cherish forever.
